Just a One-Liner to Explain My Absence

Hey everyone, I've been feeling really bad about my lack of posts lately, and I owe you all an explanation!  The dealio is that my father is really sick, which has been occupying a great deal of my and my family's time.  This equals little time for blogging, though I have a thousand post ideas that have been inspired by this experience.

My father's situation requires more explaining than I am able to do right now, but I just wanted everyone to know that I am alive and well, and will hopefully be back on the bloggy-bandwagon in a jiffy.  I am not sure what the outcome will be at this point, but I am trying very hard to be optimistic!

Oh, and to add to the splendor of 2011 so far, I just turned another year older yesterday, which has brought me to a whole new level of depression.  'Cuz let's face it, 28 IS FUCKING OLD!

I'm sighing very dramatically right now.

Anyway, I will try to post something a little more tangible and less vague about what's going on.  Y'all know how annoying I find it when people write out vague Facebook statuses/blog posts about something traumatic without actually telling you what's wrong, but in this case, it's too long of a story to type out at the moment.  So, rest assured, you shall be informed in the near future.

In the meantime, I hope I didn't just lose all my readers because of my negligence.  Because that would make me doubly sad!!

Peace out,

Awww, mama you take your time and as much time as you need. You're loyal followers will not be going anywhere. You can always pick up the pieces when you get back. I hope everything works out fine with your father and I'll be praying for you

Hi sweetheart- I'm so sorry that you and your family are going through this. Obviously I'll continue to wait with bated breath for your next blog post, but more importantly I'm looking forward to the next time I can see your lovely face. Hang in there, tomorrow is a new day.
And I'm thinking we'll have to find a time you're free next weekend to celebrate said "28"ness!
